no insurance :(

well, the car-insurance story now comes to a near close. apparently, the owner of the other car is a japanese student who does not have any insurance. which complicates things in my conscience... coz he's a student, that implies he/she may not have much mulla to fork out ($600 is quite a price to pay ya know)... and since he doesn't have insurance - he'd have to fork the whole lot of it - just for a fist-sized dent on ye olde gorilla. looks like i won't be pressing any more for the damages to be fixed...

after all, it is only a small dent and i also don't intend to sell off the car. "what? you're never gonna sell the gorilla away?!" i hear you say? c'mon man, it's a family heirloom. i just hope that the exposed part of the car where the paint came off doesn't rust :S

so yeah, after all that trouble and dealing with police and the insurance companies, the gorilla is the only one that came out worse off. i have learnt a few things tho.

1. police have a grudge against insurance companies
2. insurance companies treat their 3rd party customers like 2nd grade ppl
3. shouldn't stay in uni too late - coz car might get smashed

see, got good reason not to *ahem* work too hard ;)
