vertical traffic jams
Recently traffic has been heavy inbound and outbound... no, not car traffic, but ppl-lift traffic. it's ridiculous i tell ya. had to wait 7 lifts before getting in to a lift that could accommodate my bicycle. why? apparently, according to the sign:
"The lift industry in Victoria is on strike until further notice. As a result of this external industrial action, all our vertical transportation (lifts and escalators) are under work bans. These bans apply to all lifts within Victoria, not just RMIT."
wow. i like the "until further notice" part. as if the lifts wasn't bad enough. crazyness !
