the chai encounter

i've come to the conclusion that chai (that is masala chai) and i are just not meant to be friends. today i went to my recently-discovered-cafe and saw chai on the menu. decided to give it one more chance, thinking perhaps the first one i had wasn't an anomoly. so i ordered the 'organic' chai (whatever organic means/tastes). eww. yuks.

i reckon there's something about the spices. it's almost like... no, it IS a curry drink. i don't think i like my tea currylike. perhaps next time i'll stick to good ol' black tea or even green tea but no more chai. one bitten, twice shy, thrice no more :P
