DFO madness
no, not UFO's but DFO! yeah, a new store is open now at the essendon airport, which is a good thing.
BUT. its a bad thing for local traffic - especially for me.
i jumped outta the house around 10am today for uni. usually traffic is minimal. but today, as soon as i got to the freeway entrace near my house, traffic was bumper to bumper all the way to essendon airport! that's a good 7km? i've never seen that in all my years driving in melbourne (not that i've been driving for so long). apparently there was also an accident at the freeway exit to DFO which lead to the exit being blocked off :|
word is from my sources (ie. mum and sis) that people took the day off school/work/life to go and shop there. crazy man.
i hope this hype dies down soon... for the sake of traffic flow :P

For me here in KL... I have a 5 contingency routes. All are pretty congested tho. So... no diff. Hiaks!
