the dvd-rw

yay! finally got my precious dvd burner - after learning that most computer hardware shops in the city are expensive and that the best prices are found in the suburbs. woo go the 'burbs.

Anyways, it's a very slick beige pioneer 109. Got roy the black face one (since his case is black). check it out:



so i came home relatively early and played around with it. i plugged it into the family computer and began to test it. seems to read the files off a dvd, but it's not so good with playing dvd movies. i'll have to work out what's wrong with it tomorrow... when i have blank dvds in hand :D

aaah... just reminds me of the early days of cd-r's. history really knows how to repeat itself ;)
