smart cat

over at roy's house, the security door ain't all that secure. it's very easy for anyone to come along and enter the place without a key or even being buzzed in. if they're smart. all you have to do is wait around until a resident comes to open the door and lo and behold... you're in.

well this morning i was attending to some technical issues to do a certain dvd burner at roy's. as i was leaving, just as i was about reach the glass security door, i saw a cat on the other side - sitting and waiting... and looking very innocent. it initially made eye contact with me and got up on all fours and approached the door. i think it wanted to get in.

so i toyed with it and wavered around the door. after a short while, it got the idea and responded to my trick by playing another trick - i plopped right down and sat and waited for me to finish my tom-foolery. :(

and the result? i opened the door. and it scooted away quickly. cat: 1, jon: 0.
