i finally got a haircut today. the last one was when i was back in malaysia in feb during Chinese New Year. got it at a typical indian barber.
don't ask me why i got it today. it was one of those "eh... what the heck moment" as i passed by the barber shop in melbourne central. so yeah, i just went in with the intention of getting a 'trim'.
so when the lady asked me what i'd like done, i said... "oh, i just want a trim please". and all of us know that it's a universally accepted fact that 'trim' does not actually register as 'cut a little off and tidy hair please'.
she then asked me a whole lot of questions about whether to use clippers on the side and is no. 4 short enough. to which i just nodded.
this is the result of the trim:
yes as you can see, this really ain't a trim. my scalp is nearly showing! and man issit cold tonight!
but i do quite like it. hehe.
so guys, take note. next time you want a trim, don't ask for a 'trim'. (unless you're talking about a barber's trim)
