the giant

well some of you may know that i got a bike this week (monday to be precise). this is my bike: a giant elwood se... (its yet to be named, any suggestions?)



its quite sad, coz i didn't have a chance to ride it all week... until today that is :)

yups, that's right. i cycled into uni all the way from my house. its about about 20km from my house to uni and it took just over one hour to get here. twas quite a nice day to cycle too! nothing beats the feeling of the wind against your face and knowing that

• it's good for you (exercise is good for everyone ;)


• it's good for the environment


• it's free (kinda, fuel is food/drink etc. instead of petrol)

feel quite achieved actually, although i was a little blur since it is the first time cycling to uni. i'm sure it'll get better. not to sure whether wearing dark colors is a good idea tho. cars may mistake you for the road! :S

that's the biggest peril tho. cars. there's always this fear of someone suddenly opening their car door right in front of you. or the car behind clipping the side of my bike, causing imbalance and thus a fall... so yeah, it's not all green grass and daisies.

ok, down to some work before i cycle back home! wooo...! (as you can see i'm still high on adrenelin).
